Making communities better.
— Danny S
Since 2015 I have participated in speaking to high school students in both Kentucky and Indiana in the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) program. I volunteer to speak to the engineering students to discuss the various opportunities and careers that can be offered to them in the civil engineering field as well as help present an award for the Engineering Design and Development course. I also volunteer in helping judge VEX Robotics competitions for the high school students. Our company has also employed students from the PLTW in years past. Last year in 2024 I was awarded with a plaque from the Early College and Career Center (EC3) for my years of contributions to the PLTW program.
