Anthony DiFrancescoPHILADELPHIA, PA – STV, a professional services firm that plans, designs and manages infrastructure projects across North America, today announced that Anthony DiFrancesco has joined the firm’s Douglassville office as senior associate Construction Management and Construction Inspection (CM/CI) Pennsylvania group manager.

In this role, DiFrancesco is working with STV’s local transportation teams, shaping and expanding the range of services STV offers clients to improve their transportation systems across Pennsylvania. This includes augmenting staff for various state and public agency clients to enhance project support. DiFrancesco will focus on growing the firm’s CM/CI practice, building on STV’s well-established operations in the region, to meet project timelines for local area clients, while also strengthening their service for local communities.

DiFrancesco brings more than 35 years of experience with consulting firms for public transportation agencies, managing and performing CM/CI work in the Philadelphia region. Following early experience in commercial construction estimating and project management, DiFrancesco transitioned to operations and management for regional and nationally acclaimed consulting firms on projects with various state agencies, as well as with counties and local municipalities in the Delaware Valley.

DiFrancesco studied Civil Engineering at Drexel University and is a member of the American Society of Highway Engineers. His volunteer work has included serving on the Board of Trustees and as Board Chair for the Montgomery School and as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Mill at Anselma Preservation and Educational Trust, both in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania.

STV has a long history of serving the region for capital improvement and Construction Management programs. This includes the preliminary designs and bridging documents for the second phase of a new monopile factory in the Port of Paulsboro in Gloucester County, NJ – the first wind turbine facility in the United States. STV also performed Program and Construction Management services for the Boeing Center South, Chinook H-47 Focus Factory Conversion Program and comprehensive technical pre-planning and OPM services for their V-22 Osprey Future Factory Conversion’s design/bid/build project, both in Ridley Park, PA.
