Chuck Kohler, chief project officer at STV, was named Volunteer of the Year by the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York (ACEC New York). The award, which was presented during ACEC New York’s Annual Meeting, recognizes individuals for their service and dedication to the organization.

Kohler has been an active member of ACEC New York for years, including serving on the first Investment Committee and as a founding member of the Design Build Committee.

“I am truly honored to receive this recognition,” Kohler said. “Helping drive our industry forward through my ACEC New York involvement has been a meaningful part of my career. ACEC New York does a great job of advocating for professional engineering services, encouraging partnership among its nearly 300 member firms and sharing knowledge and expertise. I look forward to many more years of supporting this leading organization in New York.”
