Frances Jensen, associate, strategic growth coordinator and executive support for STV’s water team, has been named the 2026 Business Developer of the Year by the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) North Texas. Presented during the chapter’s annual Bluebonnet Ball Awards event, the award recognizes industry professionals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, mentorship and contributions to business development across North Texas’s architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) community.

“Having been involved with SMPS North Texas for many years as a member, mentor, committee chair and board member, this award is especially meaningful to me,” Jensen said. “I am also grateful to STV for continually supporting my professional growth and involvement in the AEC industry. The relationships I’ve built through SMPS North Texas have enriched both my career and my life, and I’m incredibly thankful to be part of this community.”

Bringing more than 25 years of experience in marketing, strategic communications and business development across the infrastructure sector, Jensen is an established leader within the AEC industry. She currently serves as secretary of the SMPS North Texas board and has held numerous leadership and volunteer roles within the chapter throughout her career. She also serves as vice president/president-elect of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Dallas Post, where she was named the organization’s 2026 Member of the Year and previously received its Service Award. Jensen also serves on the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) Southwest Region Outreach Committee.

Beyond her professional involvement, Jensen is active in her local community through the City of Grapevine Heritage Foundation, where she serves as vice chairman of the board, as well as longstanding volunteer roles with the historic Palace Theater, Nash Farm and MATHCOUNTS.
