Kim Vierheilig, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, president of STV’s Buildings practice, has been honored by the Professional Women in Construction (PWC) New York Chapter with a Salute to Women of Achievement award – a recognition that celebrates women in the architecture, engineering and construction industries for their excellence, leadership and commitment to mentorship and equity.
“I’m deeply honored by this recognition from PWC,” Vierheilig said. “This award is not just about my own path, but also about all the peers, mentors and teams who have supported me – and about advancing equity, innovation and opportunity for the next generation of leaders.”
Vierheilig, who joined STV in 2022, guides programming, planning, architecture, interior design and integrated engineering services for the firm’s buildings design team. A licensed architect with over 25 years of experience, she is deeply engaged in advancing the AEC industry through service on numerous boards, including the Society of American Military Engineers (NYC Post), Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey, New Jersey Alliance for Action and the ACE Mentor Program of America. She also serves as a trustee at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and contributes her expertise as a member of the advisory board for NJIT’s Hiller College of Architecture and Design.
Earlier this year, Vierheilig was elected to the National Academy of Construction (NAC). The NAC recognized her contributions to advancing innovation, sustainability and equity in the built environment while mentoring emerging professionals and promoting industry excellence nationwide.
“Recognition like this boosts our commitment to mentor others, lead with integrity and make sure STV keeps raising the bar in how we serve clients and communities alike,” Vierheilig said.
