STV Supports Rare Cancer Research Through Cycle for Survival Ride

STV’s New York team recently participated in Cycle for Survival, a national indoor cycling fundraiser benefiting rare cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK).

The STV team more than doubled its original $2,000 fundraising goal, raising $4,473 to support innovative research that moves quickly from the lab to patients. Cycle for Survival is MSK’s official rare cancer fundraising program, with 100 percent of donations directly supporting research across blood, pediatric and hard-to-treat cancers. Donations are allocated within months, accelerating progress on new treatments and expanding options for patients and families facing rare cancers.

Serving as team captain, GinaMarie Napoli, CACM, a project manager at STV, rode alongside colleagues from New York City in honor of her sister, Sophia, who is celebrating 13 years in remission from childhood cancer.

“Cycle for Survival is incredibly powerful because it brings together community, purpose and hope,” Napoli said. “Riding alongside my colleagues while honoring my sister made the experience especially meaningful. Every dollar raised helps move rare cancer research forward.”

Participants also had the opportunity to ride on the Jen Goodman bike, honoring the legacy of Jennifer Goodman Linn, founder of Cycle for Survival, whose vision continues to unite communities nationwide in support of rare cancer research.

Through their collective fundraising and participation, the STV team demonstrated how employee-led initiatives can drive impact beyond the workplace – advancing medical research, strengthening communities and reinforcing STV’s commitment to social responsibility.
