STV recently joined dozens of organizations on the Washington Dulles International Airport runway for the Dulles Plane Pull, an annual fundraiser benefiting Special Olympics Virginia.
The event brought 67 teams together and raised $512,000 to support training, programs and competition opportunities for Special Olympics Virginia athletes. Athletes and coaches were also on the tarmac, encouraging the teams and bringing the mission behind the event to the center of the experience.

“We spend a lot of time talking about making communities better at STV, and this was a chance to do that alongside partners from across the region,” said Michael Carter, vice president and area manager for program management and construction management at STV. “The plane pull is a fun event but the real impact is beyond the runway – helping provide talented athletes with opportunities to train, compete and be part of a supportive local community.”
At STV, partnership extends beyond the projects we deliver. It also means showing up for the communities where we live and work, supporting one another and pulling together when it matters.
