STV Wins New CTDOT Traffic Engineering Contract, Extending 70-Year Partnership

HARTFORD, CT – STV today announced the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) selected the firm to provide traffic engineering services under a new task-based agreement. The award extends a more than 70-year partnership supporting the state’s highways, bridges, rail and traffic systems.

As prime consultant, STV will provide end-to-end traffic engineering services across Connecticut, supporting projects from preliminary studies and data collection to design, simulation, public outreach and construction-phase assistance. STV’s services include traffic signal and intelligent transportation systems (ITS) design, roadway signage and pavement marking, safety improvements and railroad crossing enhancements.
