Two leaders from STV’s Franklin, TN, team were honored for their years of industry stewardship by being inducted into the inaugural Hall of Fame for the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) Middle Tennessee Section.

Brad Winkler, P.E., vice president and regional manager, and Larry Ridlen, P.E., senior engineer, were noted as being “critical pieces” of ASHE Middle Tennessee, which is based in Nashville, just north of Franklin where STV opened its first office in Tennessee last year. Both were founding members of the Middle Tennessee Section in 2005.

Ridlen served two terms as the organization’s first president from 2005-07, co-chaired the 2019 ASHE National Conference, and is a past President of ASHE National from 2016-17.

Winkler was past president of the section from 2008-09, served as an ASHE National Board member from 2014-2017, was co-chair of the 2019 ASHE National Conference, and was recently named a board member for ASHE Tennessee Valley.

“These ASHE Middle TN members have provided exemplary service to the section,” the organization said in a statement. “These members have been heavily involved in molding ASHE Middle TN to what it is today and continue to provide support and guidance when needed.”
