Two members of STV’s Duluth, Georgia, team have completed the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Georgia Future Leaders Program, a yearlong initiative that prepares emerging professionals for leadership roles in the engineering industry while contributing to project delivery, collaboration and client service at STV.

Jennifer Bergwall, PE, and Lina Campuzano participated in the program, which brings together professionals from firms across the state to build practical leadership skills, deepen understanding of the business side of engineering and engage more actively in the industry. The curriculum includes topics such as business development, financial performance, leadership and industry policy with a focus on applying those lessons in day-to-day project and team environments.

Bergwall is a structural engineer supporting bridge and rail infrastructure projects across Georgia and the Southeast. Her experience includes contributing to complex public-sector programs, with a focus on structural design, quality control, and coordination with agencies such as the Georgia Department of Transportation. She holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Campuzano is an engineering specialist with extensive experience supporting transportation improvements across Georgia, including roadway widening, bridge replacement, and intersection enhancements. She has contributed across all phases of project development – from planning and design through agency coordination – and has been a key member of the Duluth team for nearly a decade. Lina earned her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago.

Their participation in the ACEC Georgia Future Leaders Program reflects STV’s approach to developing leaders through hands-on project experience, collaboration and continuous learning.

“Jennifer and Lina’s completion of ACEC Georgia’s Future Leaders Program reflects their curiosity, commitment and willingness to invest in their growth,” said Jeff Church, PE, vice president at STV. “Experiences like this strengthen how we lead projects, support our teams and partner with clients, and we’re proud to see them bring that perspective back to our Duluth office.”
