STV’s Georgia team recently hit the links at The Water Tower’s seventh annual Watering Hole Golf Tournament at Bear’s Best Atlanta in Suwanee, Georgia. This tournament supports programs that advance water research, workforce development and educational opportunities for industry professionals.
As a sponsor, STV participated both on and off the course, joining local clients in the tournament and volunteering at the event.
“The Water Tower is investing in the ideas and people our industry needs for the future,” said Chris Haney, PE, president of the water team at STV. “They make investments that help our industry build the expertise and capacity needed to better serve communities.”
The tournament is one part of STV’s ongoing partnership with The Water Tower. As a sustaining partner since 2024, STV contributes technical expertise and industry insight for the organization’s initiatives focused on treatment technologies, workforce development and utility resilience. Haney also serves on The Water Tower Institute Board of Directors and Research Advisory Committee, helping support applied research, knowledge sharing and development of the next generation of water professionals.
Through its partnership with The Water Tower, STV is helping connect water professionals, researchers and industry partners to exchange knowledge, develop talent and advance practical solutions. By investing in the people and ideas shaping the future of water, STV is helping strengthen the industry’s ability to deliver resilient water systems and make communities better for generations to come.
