In support of a dynamic effort to transform Denver’s historic Union Station into a mixed-use hub serving Regional Transportation District (RTD) FasTracks rail, Amtrak, bus, and other transit, STV provided project management oversight on behalf of the Federal Transit Administration. 

The $484 million project consists of an expanded facility that accommodates an at-grade, 8-track commuter rail station; relocation of RTD’s regional bus facility below grade under 17th Street; and relocation of the light rail station at-grade to the Consolidated Mail Line. 

As part of its scope of services, STV prepared regular reports on environmental mitigation and design progress and evaluated requisitions to see if federal funds were appropriate.
