New Hope-Lambertville Toll Bridge Administration Building Expansion

The New Hope-Lambertville Toll Bridge Administration Building in New Hope, PA, plays a key role in the operation of the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission, which owns and operates 20 bridges crossing the Delaware River.

STV was contracted to provide on-site leadership and construction management services for the renovation of all three levels of the 21,600-square-foot building and the construction of a new 6,030-square-foot addition. The addition included a new ADA-compliant entryway to improve public access from the parking lot to the building via a refurbished and code-compliant elevator. Other improvements included a 9,800-square-foot expansion of the existing parking lot, replacement of all major HVAC equipment and upgrade of the service and power distribution system to accommodate the additional loads.

Building expansion enhances accessibility and operational efficiency of vital public administrative facility.
