New York State awarded $664 million to One Brooklyn Health System, Inc. (OBHS) to transform its integrated healthcare network in Brooklyn. In concert with the groundbreaking “Vital Brooklyn” initiative and based on the “Brooklyn Study: Reshaping the Future of Healthcare,” OBHS launched a comprehensive restructuring of its hospitals and ambulatory care facilities. The program updated and strengthened medical facilities and critical infrastructure to preserve patient safety; meet regulatory standards; accommodate clinical restructuring; decrease outmigration; enhance patient access and experience; and achieve operational savings for this new health system.
In support, STV provided program management services at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, Interfaith Medical Center and Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center. Bringing the Vital Brooklyn vision to life, the projects developed a clinical integration of the hospital service lines.
