SunRail Phase 2 North

STV is providing engineering design services to support SunRail Phase 2 North, owned by Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). Herzog Contracting Corp. is the prime contractor of the 12.2 mile, $34 million design-build commuter rail extension and passenger station in DeLand, FL.

The project will extend the current SunRail system in Central Florida north from DeBary Station to the DeLand Amtrak Station in Volusia County. The firm’s scope includes four miles of double tracking, communications and electrical engineering at SunRail’s new DeLand Station and a total rehabilitation of the pedestrian tunnel at Lake Beresford Park.
