LAKE MARY, FL – STV today announced that Daniel Augusti, PE, DBIA, has joined the firm’s water team as vice president and national collaborative delivery leader. He will lead STV’s design-build and progressive design-build strategy for water infrastructure, helping utilities align project teams, address risks earlier and deliver complex capital programs with greater cost and schedule certainty.

Augusti brings 30 years of experience leading water infrastructure programs from the owner, engineering and contractor perspectives. That firsthand experience enables him to help project stakeholders balance cost, schedule, risk and performance while working toward shared goals for complex infrastructure investments.

“Utilities need delivery partners who can unite owners, designers and builders around clear decisions from the outset,” said Chris Haney, PE, president of the water operating group at STV. “Daniel understands the priorities of each stakeholder and will help clients turn that alignment into stronger outcomes for their communities.”

Augusti has led major alternative delivery programs across the nation, including the rehabilitation of DC Water’s Potomac Interceptor, the award-winning Louisville Metropolitan Sewer District Large Diameter Sewer Repair project, Atlanta’s $160 million Custer Avenue Multi-Benefit Project and DC Water’s Clean Rivers Program.

Augusti holds a Master of Business Administration from St. Michael’s College and a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Norwich University. He is a licensed professional engineer in Florida and a certified Design-Build Professional through the Design-Build Institute of America.

For more than 45 years, STV has delivered integrated management strategies for water, wastewater, water resources and resource recovery projects for clients nationwide and is ranked 18th for Water Transmission Lines and Aqueducts in ENR’s Top 500 Design Firms. Key projects include the Second Atoka Pipeline in Coalgate, Oklahoma, the award-winning Vista Ridge Regional Supply Project in San Antonio, Texas; the Owasso Wastewater Treatment Plant in Owasso, Oklahoma; the Walnut Hill Pump Station in Dallas, Texas; and the Red Hook Wastewater Resource Recovery Facility in New York City.
