Four STV team members were recently recognized at the Women Builders Council (WBC) 2025 Champions Awards Gala in New York City. The annual event celebrates women and men who are advancing New York’s building and construction industry through mentoring, advocacy and leadership.

Honoring Emerging and Established Leaders

Elizabeth Lisk, PE, and Nicole Quinlan, PE, received Next Generation of Women Builders awards, recognizing rising professionals who are shaping the industry’s future. Lisa Pompei and Clare Phillips, PE, LEED® AP BD+C, were honored as Outstanding Women for their leadership, mentorship, and long-term contributions to the built environment.

“These honorees exemplify the vision, dedication and collaboration that define STV,” said Lauren Alger, PE, vice president and national director of sustainable design at STV and a WBC board member. “Their work not only elevates the projects they support, but also inspires others – especially the next generation – to make meaningful contributions to our communities.”

In addition to recognizing individual honorees, the WBC presented the MTA with the Notable Public Project Award for the agency’s ADA Accessibility Program, which is improving access across New York City’s subway system. STV is proud to have led design efforts for several stations as part of this transformative initiative, which is expanding accessibility, mobility, and equity for riders across the five boroughs.
