Kim Vierheilig Honored by SIAEA and Elected to New Jersey Chamber of Commerce Board

Kim Vierheilig, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, president of STV’s Buildings practice, recently received two distinguished recognitions that celebrate her leadership and impact in the architecture, engineering and construction industries. She was honored by the Society of IndoAmerican Engineers & Architects (SIAEA) at its 43rd Annual Gala Dinner for outstanding contributions to the profession, and she has been elected to the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce (NJCC), a role that recognizes leaders driving business growth, innovation and economic development across the state.

“I’m deeply honored to receive recognition from SIAEA while also joining the NJ Chamber board,” Vierheilig said. “Both of these honors reflect the support of colleagues, mentors and teams who inspire me every day – and they reinforce the importance of giving back, mentoring the next generation and helping shape communities and the profession for the better.”

Vierheilig, who joined STV in 2022, leads programming, planning, architecture, interior design and integrated engineering services for the firm’s buildings design team. A licensed architect with over 25 years of experience, she is actively engaged in advancing the AEC industry through service on numerous boards, including the Society of American Military Engineers (NYC Post), the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey, the New Jersey Alliance for Action, and the ACE Mentor Program of America. She also serves as a trustee at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and contributes her expertise as a member of the advisory board for NJIT’s Hiller College of Architecture and Design.

Earlier this year, Vierheilig was elected to the National Academy of Construction (NAC), which recognized her contributions to advancing innovation, sustainability and equity in the built environment while mentoring emerging professionals and promoting industry excellence nationwide.

“These recognitions are not only personal milestones but reminders of the broader responsibility we all share – to lift others, drive innovation and make a lasting impact in the communities and professions we serve,” Vierheilig said.
