Justin Eberhart, PE, CBSI, a senior structural engineer at STV in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, has been named president of the Susquehanna Chapter of the Association for Bridge Construction and Design (ABCD).

Eberhart brings over two decades of experience in bridge design, rehabilitation and construction, delivering projects that enhance mobility, safety and regional connectivity across Pennsylvania and the Northeast. He has supported programs for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and other public agencies. Since joining STV in 2010, he has played key roles on complex, multi-stakeholder bridge and highway improvement initiatives, including the I-95 Betsy Ross Interchange reconstruction in Philadelphia and the Central Susquehanna Valley Transportation Project. His leadership reflects STV’s commitment to partnering with clients to deliver infrastructure that strengthens the communities they serve.

ABCD is a professional association dedicated to improving and advancing the science of bridge design, construction and rehabilitation. This work directly supports the safe, reliable delivery of transportation infrastructure. Through technical programs, industry collaboration and knowledge-sharing initiatives, the organization brings together engineers, contractors, material suppliers, educators and public-sector leaders to promote safe, resilient and innovative bridge infrastructure.

Eberhart has been an active member of the Susquehanna Chapter for more than a decade, serving as membership chairmen from 2012 to 2013, secretary from 2013 to 2024, and vice president since 2024.

“ABCD provides a valuable forum for professionals across the bridge industry to exchange ideas, share lessons learned and discuss emerging challenges,” Eberhart said. “Those conversations help us deliver better solutions for our clients, strengthen partnerships across the industry and improve the infrastructure communities rely on every day.
