Located in the Baltimore’s historic Inner Harbor, the World Trade Center (WTC) is the tallest regular pentagonal building in the world and was designed by world-renowned architect I. M. Pei. STV is providing on-call architectural and engineering design services as part of a contract with the Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Port Administration (MDOT MPA) to support ongoing building improvements and upgrades at the WTC. The firm is working closely alongside MDOT MPA project managers and current Baltimore WTC tenants to help develop new suites, and expand existing suites, while modernizing existing building systems. This includes rehabilitating building components and maintaining life-safety components.

STV’s scope includes tenant fit-outs and improvements located on several floors of the iconic 31-story building. Electrical, mechanical, and plumbing upgrades will modernize the building while meeting modern code compliance. STV is also providing task management and cost estimating services.
