Baltimore World Trade Center Tenant Improvements

Designed by world-renowned architect I. M. Pei, the Baltimore World Trade Center (WTC) is the tallest regular pentagonal building in the world. Towering above Baltimore’s historic Inner Harbor, STV, on behalf of the Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Port Administration (MDOT MPA), provided on-call architectural and engineering design services for tenant fit-outs and other modernization throughout the iconic 31-story building.  STV also performed task management and cost estimating services.

The project team worked closely alongside MDOT MPA project managers and current Baltimore WTC tenants to develop new suites, expand existing ones and modernize building systems. The project’s scope included rehabilitating and upgrading the building’s electrical, mechanical and plumbing, as well as meeting modern code compliance to provide a safer experience for its tenants.
