STV’s Austin team recently partnered with the Central Texas Food Bank, the region’s leading hunger-relief nonprofit, for a day of volunteer service. Team members helped sort and pack more than 6,000 pounds of food for distribution to families across the organization’s 21-county service area.
The volunteer effort was complemented by an internal CANstruction competition, which generated more than 700 canned food donations and $311 in charitable contributions. Inspired by America’s 250th anniversary, the team’s patriotic sculpture showcased employees’ creativity while supporting the food bank’s mission.
“Our group is passionate about supporting the communities where we live and work,” said Anthony Serda, PE, vice president and Central Texas area manager at STV. “The Central Texas Food Bank plays a vital role in helping families across the region, and we’re proud to support its mission through volunteer service and charitable giving. It’s rewarding to see our employees come together for a cause that makes a meaningful difference in our community.”
