The Connecticut Institute for Communities (CIFC) Greater Danbury Community Health Center fulfills its state mission of ensuring affordable, accessible, comprehensive, high-quality healthcare to residents in the Danbury area. As part of a larger program to expand capacity at the CIFC, a new wing boasts 8,500 square feet, offering multiple healthcare services for the local community.
STV performed owner’s project management (OPM) services for the project, including finance and budget management, as well as construction administration/observation and commissioning services. The team also managed and monitored the construction loan process and executed the application for all project accounting requirements from the various financing parties.
CIFC Health is a federally qualified community health center that doubles as CIFC headquarters. The health center now features three new dental operatories, a new family medicine suite, eight additional pediatric and adult medicine exam rooms as well as a primary care simulation that will be used by CIFC’s Teaching Health Center program.
